Daily Note

(DAY 1327) Legs, DOMS, and Starting Again

Quick Context

In one line

Seven months after hernia surgery, I restarted leg training at about 70 percent and can feel it today.

Daily Note Topic: Swimming

I did a leg workout yesterday after a long time, and I can feel it in my legs today. The delayed onset muscle soreness is definitely here.

It has been around seven months since my hernia surgery, and I have decided to start training legs again at about 70 percent of my capacity. Starting carefully feels like a good way to rebuild the habit and see how my body responds.

It is satisfying to begin again, even when the next day makes sure you remember the workout.
