Today felt like an important recovery milestone: coming back home.
I was discharged in the afternoon, and it felt really nice to be back home after the hospital stay.
The body is still clearly in recovery mode. I felt quite sleepy through most of the day, and even simple things took more energy than usual.
One surprisingly happy moment was taking a shower. It felt refreshing, normal, and mentally uplifting in a way I did not expect.
Right now, my abdomen is still inflated due to the CO2 used during the laparoscopic robotic hernia procedure. It feels uncomfortable, but from everything I understand, this should normalize over the next few days.
For now, the plan is straightforward: rest well, move gently, stay patient, and let the body heal step by step.
