Quick Context
A spell of light rain made Gurgaon pleasantly cool today, creating that awkward in-between weather where the AC feels too cold and the room feels too warm without it.
I am Gaurav Parashar, a founder and engineer writing from lived experience across entrepreneurship, technology, health, reading, and everyday life.
Today Gurgaon slipped into that oddly pleasant, slightly confusing kind of weather that arrives with light rain.
The air felt cooler, softer, more forgiving. For a while, everything seemed easier simply because the weather had decided not to be harsh.
And yet it was also that classic in-between state where comfort becomes annoyingly hard to calibrate. Switch on the AC and it starts feeling too cold after a while. Turn it off and the room slowly becomes warm enough to make you reconsider. It is a narrow band of weather where nothing stays right for too long.
This is also the season that quietly carries flu along with it. Pleasant weather often hides that little trap. One moment you are enjoying the breeze, the next you are wondering why your throat feels strange or why everyone around you seems to be sneezing.
Still, there is something lovely about this phase. It breaks the monotony of hard summer. It gives the city a softer edge. It makes you pause for a second and notice the air itself.
Not perfect weather, but memorable weather.
