We celebrated Swati’s birthday in Osaka with a visit to Osaka Castle and a relaxing day and evening together.
Today was Swati’s birthday.
We visited Osaka Castle and had a relaxing, enjoyable day and evening together. The castle was part of the day, but the birthday was the real centre of it. It was lovely to be away together and to celebrate her in a new city.
Osaka is beautiful. That was my overall impression as the day unfolded: a city we could explore, enjoy, and return from without feeling rushed.
Birthdays can become complicated when life gets busy. This one felt simple in the best way. We were together, travelling, and giving the day our full attention.
