(DAY 1106) WhatsApp Status Ads Are Here

Today I noticed something new on my phone: a WhatsApp Status ad.

It was the first time I had received one, and interestingly, it came from a Gurgaon real-estate broker. Out of all categories to show up first in this format, real estate was somehow the least surprising.

What stood out to me was not just the ad itself, but the channel choice. WhatsApp Status feels personal and informal, and seeing promotional content appear there is a reminder of how quickly marketing adapts to user behavior.

At this point, I am convinced real estate in Delhi NCR is definitely very organized — they seem to run pilots for every possible way to reach their customers, and they are rarely late to experiment.

If there is a new digital corner where attention exists, chances are Delhi NCR real-estate marketing has already tested it.
