I started using the Evoluent Vertical Mouse today, and this feels like an important shift in how I work.
The biggest reason is simple: I have been dealing with discomfort in my right hand, and continuing with the usual setup was not ideal. Moving to a left-hand mouse gives my right hand a real break during long work sessions.
The vertical design also feels more natural than a standard flat mouse. Instead of twisting the wrist inward, the hand stays in a handshake-like position, which already feels less stressful during regular movement.
There is definitely an adaptation period because I am now using my left hand for pointer control, but even on day one it feels promising. I expect speed and precision to improve with a bit of consistency.
If this setup works well over the next few weeks, it could become a permanent part of my ergonomic workflow.
