Founder Note

(DAY 1198) Remembering the People Who Actually Know SEO

Quick Context

In one line

The SEO people who share real nuance tend to stay memorable, especially when their posts or comments solve problems that actually matter.

Founder Note Topic: Building Edzy

Read This As A Thread

This post is part of the founder writing around Edzy, product decisions, hiring, incentives, and the slower realities of building a company.

Interacting with SEO practitioners who really understand the nuances is always refreshing. There is a big difference between generic noise and people who can actually identify where the real issue sits.

I have noticed that when I come across a genuinely high-value LinkedIn post, especially one that matters to me at that moment, I tend to remember the people posting and commenting on it. That memory is useful because the internet is full of broad advice, but only a smaller set of people consistently add signal.

We are interacting with a few such people to identify some SEO issues that are bothering us at Edzy. Most other things in the ecosystem feel like noise to me right now, though they may still be relevant for others working on different problems.
