Daily Note

(DAY 1119) Day 3 Recovery and a 1 km Evening Walk

Quick Context

In one line

A light day 3 recovery update on steady progress, an easy 1 km evening walk, and the effects of anaesthesia and painkillers gradually wearing off.

Daily Note Topic: Running

Today was day 3 after my hernia surgery, and recovery continues to move in the right direction.

I can feel steady progress now compared to the first couple of days. Nothing dramatic, just small but meaningful improvements in energy, comfort, and confidence while moving around. Yesterday evening, I even went for a 1 km leisure walk, which felt like a nice milestone.

It was slow and easy, but it felt good to be outside and let the body loosen up a little. I can also tell that the effects of anaesthesia and the pain killers are wearing off.

My body feels a bit more like itself again, and that makes the recovery process feel lighter and more real.

Still taking things carefully, but so far, day 3 feels encouraging.
