February is the shortest month of the year, but for me, it feels like the longest. Especially when I’m staring down the barrel of a 100 km running target. As so...
February is the shortest month, which makes a 100 km running goal feel tighter. I have kept this monthly target for over a year, and I completed it again this month.

Running indoors felt hotter as the weather began to change. The shorter month also meant I had less room to move sessions around. I had to balance keeping up with the goal against taking a rest when needed.
I am glad I reached 100 km. It is a personal target that helps me stay consistent, but I do not want to treat every missed day as a failure. I will keep adjusting as the weather and schedule change.
