Learning Log

I recently caught up with Manish Kumar, a friend from IIM Bangalore. He works in analytics consulting at Mastercard in Vancouver. What stayed with me was his schedule: he starts around 6 am and usually finishes by 2 pm, sometimes later on busy days. He told me the early start helps him work with teams on the U.S. East Coast.

He described getting more uninterrupted time in the morning and keeping his evenings free. That routine seems to work well for him. It made me think about how much schedules vary by role and team. Not everyone can or needs to start at 6 am, but it is worth finding a schedule that fits the work and the rest of life.
