Daily Note

I like dark chocolate after a meal, especially when it is rich without being too sweet. Fabelle Intense Dark, with 84% cocoa, is one I enjoyed. I find it smooth, with roasted cocoa notes and a little fruitiness. It is less bitter than I expected at that cocoa percentage.

Fabelle is an ITC brand, and the Intense Dark bar is a good alternative to Lindt’s Excellence range for my taste. I find Lindt remains a reliable choice, but I enjoyed Fabelle’s balance of bitterness and sweetness. The packaging is understated, too.
