Daily Note

While watching Lucky Ali perform “Gori Teri Aankhen” on Unacademy Unwind With MTV, I noticed the flute playing by Annada Prasanna Pattanaik.

The flute part stood out to me. It made me pay attention to the musicians working behind the lead performer.

The flute adds another layer to the song. Musicians who are not the lead performer can be easy to overlook.

Songs and videos involve many contributors, including musicians, composers, and lyricists. Their work shapes the finished piece.

Some contributors receive less attention than the lead performer, even when their part stands out to listeners.

It is worth paying attention to the different contributions that make up a song or video.

Unacademy Unwind With MTV also made me wonder whether music fits into a study platform. Music may help some people concentrate or relax, but I was unsure whether it supports the main purpose of studying.

I want to pay more attention to the musicians and other contributors whose work I might otherwise miss.
